◆  Opening Fall 2027 — now building a strong foundation for our scholars
Accessibility

This site is built

to be used by everyone.
Mosaic Learning Academy is committed to making this website usable by every family, including families using a screen reader, a keyboard instead of a mouse, magnification, or captions.
The standard we hold this website to is WCAG 2.1 Level AA — the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines published by the World Wide Web Consortium, at the level most commonly required of public institutions.
Every page is tested against that standard before it is published, not after. Accessibility is treated as a condition of a page being finished, not as cleanup to be done later.
Our commitments

What that means in practice.

These are the specific requirements Mosaic holds itself and its vendors to.
Keyboard navigation works. Everything you can do with a mouse, you can do with a keyboard, in a sensible order, with a visible outline showing where you are.
Screen readers work. Pages are built with real headings, lists, labels and landmarks rather than styled text pretending to be them.
Sufficient colour contrast. Every piece of text on this site is measured against the surface behind it and must meet the WCAG AA ratio.
Images include alternative text. Meaningful images are described; purely decorative ones are hidden from screen readers so they do not add noise.
Clear headings and page structure. One main heading per page and no skipped levels, so a screen reader user can move through a page by its outline.
Accessible forms. Every field has a visible label — not just faint placeholder text — a visible focus state, and errors that are announced rather than shown only in colour.
Links describe where they go. No “click here”.
Content is readable when zoomed. Text stays legible and nothing is cut off at 200% zoom.
The same standard applies to documents. PDFs we publish are tagged for screen readers and contain real, searchable text rather than a scan of a printed page.
How we check

Every page, every time.

A page that has not been checked is not finished.
Before a page goes live, every visible piece of text on it is measured against the colour behind it, every image is checked for a text alternative, the heading outline is checked for skipped levels, every form field is checked for a real label, and every link is checked for meaningful wording.
That check runs at three screen widths — a desktop, a tablet and a phone — and it is run again on the published page, not only on a preview of it.
We have not yet commissioned an independent accessibility audit, and we do not claim a formal certification. When we do, we will say so here and publish what it found.
What we know

Where this site may still fall short.

This website is being built ahead of a school that opens in August 2027, and it changes often. New pages, new documents and new images are added as real information exists.
Two things are outside our direct control: content provided by another organisation and embedded here, and documents published by agencies we link to. Where we can improve those, we will. Where we cannot, we will give you the same information another way if you ask us.
Tell us

If something on this site gets in your way, tell us.

You do not need to know what the problem is called.
Email info@mosaiclearningacademy.com or call (623) 226-8180. Tell us the page you were on and what happened. A description in your own words is enough.
You will hear back from someone at Mosaic within 24–48 hours. We will tell you what we are going to do about it, and while we are fixing it we will give you the information you were trying to reach in whatever format works for you.
If you would prefer to raise a concern formally rather than by email, contact us and we will tell you how. Mosaic’s formal grievance procedure is being adopted alongside the school’s other board policies, and it will be published here.
Get in touch

We would rather hear about it.

A barrier we do not know about is one we cannot fix. Telling us is a help, not a complaint.
