Arizona charter schools must publish certain information for the public. This page collects those postings in one place. Mosaic Learning Academy opens in August 2027, and some items below will be published as they are adopted or become available.

Governing Board

Governing Board and meetings.

Mosaic Learning Academy’s Governing Board conducts its meetings in accordance with the Arizona Open Meeting Law. Meeting notices and agendas are posted at least 24 hours before each meeting and include the date, time, location and the matters to be discussed or decided. Minutes are posted following each meeting. The Board may hold executive sessions where the law permits, and notice of an executive session appears on the agenda.

Public Records

Public records requests.

Mosaic Learning Academy is subject to public records requests. The name, telephone number and email address of the person able to provide requested records, or to forward a request to the right person, must be published here.

Budget

Budget and public hearing notices.

The proposed budget, the approved budget and notices of the associated public hearings are published here. A copy of the proposed budget or a summary, together with the public hearing notice, is transmitted to the Arizona Department of Education at least ten days before the hearing and posted on this website.

Teacher Salary

Average teacher salary information.

Average teacher salary information is published separately from the budget. The posting includes the current year average salary, the previous year average salary, the dollar increase in the average salary for the current year, and the percentage change in the average salary for the current year.

A.R.S. § 15-189.05 — note the statute requires this information prominently on the home page of the school’s website, in addition to appearing here.

All four figures: current year average, previous year average, dollar increase, and percentage change. Mosaic has no staff until 2027, so the correct posting today may be a statement of that fact — confirm the required wording for a pre-opening school with the authorizer or counsel.

ASBCS Dashboards

Academic and financial dashboards.

A link to the school’s ASBCS academic performance dashboard, and to the charter holder’s ASBCS financial and operational performance dashboards, is posted conspicuously and permanently on this website.

The dashboard URLs for Mosaic Learning Academy — academic, financial and operational. These are issued by ASBCS; they may not exist until the school is operating, in which case confirm what a pre-opening school is required to post.

Child Find

Child Find notice.

Child Find is the requirement that schools identify, locate and evaluate children who may have a disability and need special education services. Mosaic Learning Academy will publish its Child Find notice here, including how a family can request an evaluation and who to contact.

FERPA

Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act notice.

FERPA gives parents and eligible students the right to inspect and review education records, to request corrections, and to control the disclosure of personally identifiable information, subject to the exceptions the law allows. Mosaic Learning Academy will publish its annual FERPA notice here, including its directory information designation and how a family may opt out.

Parental Rights

Non-Discrimination

Notice of non-discrimination.

Mosaic Learning Academy does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, age, disability, or religion. This applies to recruitment, enrollment and operations. Questions or complaints regarding discrimination on the basis of sex should be directed to the Title IX Coordinator.

Safety Reporting

Reporting suspected crimes and misconduct.

The governing body prescribes and enforces policies and procedures for school personnel to report and document suspected crimes and conduct set out in statute, including notification to the parent or guardian of each student involved. That policy is posted on this website.
