Help build a school from the ground up.
This is not a traditional school operations position where established systems and processes are waiting to be managed. Mosaic is being built now — and we need an entrepreneurial operator who is energized by the opportunity to build, lead, solve, and execute.
The Opportunity

Enrollment first — but not only.

The Founding Enrollment & Operations Manager reports directly to the Founder & Executive Director and will serve as a key operational leader throughout Mosaic’s pre-opening year.
Enrollment is the immediate priority. You’ll lead Mosaic’s day-to-day enrollment operation, supervise our enrollment support team, manage the prospective-family pipeline and CRM, monitor results, and ensure families experience the responsive, personal follow-through Mosaic promises.
As enrollment systems become established, you’ll progressively assume broader responsibility for the operational work required to successfully open Mosaic, including facilities readiness, procurement, vendor management, financial and administrative support, operational systems, launch planning, and Ready-to-Open execution.
What You’ll Do

The work itself.

Lead Mosaic’s enrollment operation and translate enrollment goals into actionable plans, priorities, timelines, and team responsibilities.
Manage the prospective-family pipeline and CRM, ensuring timely, accurate, and personalized family follow-up.
Monitor enrollment data and results, identify gaps or underperforming strategies, and recommend or implement adjustments.
Supervise the part-time Enrollment & Family Coordinator and Community & Events Coordinator.
Participate actively in family outreach, information sessions, tours, community engagement, and required evening and weekend events.
Build effective systems, workflows, project plans, and accountability structures as Mosaic grows.
Progressively assume operational responsibility across facilities, procurement, vendors, school-opening logistics, financial and administrative support, and other Ready-to-Open priorities.
Identify risks and problems early — and bring recommendations and solutions, not simply issues requiring someone else to solve.
Help create organizational capacity that allows the Executive Director to increasingly focus on executive leadership, strategic partnerships, fundraising, school vision, and long-term success.
Who Will Thrive Here

An entrepreneurial mindset.

A founding-school environment requires one. Not every process has been created, every answer is known, or every resource is readily available. You’ll thrive here if you:
Take ownership without waiting for detailed direction.
Create clarity and structure from ambiguity.
See possibilities as well as constraints, and find practical ways forward.
Think strategically while remaining willing to do hands-on work.
Build systems rather than repeatedly solving the same problem.
Use limited time, people, and resources thoughtfully.
Lead people with both accountability and respect.
Communicate early, exercise sound judgment, and consistently follow through.
Believe clear roles are important — but don’t use a job description as a boundary around helping the team succeed.
Mosaic’s culture is grounded in Unwavering Belief, Shared Responsibility, Intentional Community, Continuous Growth, and Purposeful Action. We are building a team that shares responsibility for the success of the entire school — not isolated departments or individual lanes.
What You’ll Bring

Required qualifications.

Demonstrated experience leading complex operations, projects, programs, or organizational functions.
Experience building or improving systems and processes.
Experience leading or coordinating others.
Strong project-management, problem-solving, communication, and relationship-building skills.
The ability to independently manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
A bachelor’s degree, or an equivalent combination of relevant education and significant progressively responsible professional experience.
Especially valuable: experience in school operations, education, charter schools, nonprofits, startups, small businesses, or other entrepreneurial environments; organizational launch experience; facilities, procurement, vendor, finance and administrative, enrollment, CRM, or community-outreach experience; knowledge of Buckeye and the West Valley; and English/Spanish bilingual capability.
Location & Schedule

Where the work happens.

This is an approximately 40-hour-per-week position. During pre-opening, work will combine independent and remote work with scheduled in-person team meetings, community activities, facility and vendor meetings, family engagement, and required evening and weekend events.
This is not a permanently remote position. The role will become increasingly site-based as Mosaic approaches opening.
Residence in Buckeye or the immediate West Valley is strongly preferred. Exceptional candidates with a reasonable commute who can reliably maintain the required Buckeye presence will be considered.
Compensation, Benefits & Growth

$65,000–$72,000 annually.

Full employee benefits are anticipated beginning January 2027. Prior to January, Mosaic anticipates providing a flat stipend to help offset individual health-premium costs.
Mosaic is hiring this position at the Manager level based on our current organizational scale, while seeking someone with the capability to assume significantly greater operational leadership as the school grows. Strong performance and organizational growth may create future opportunity for advancement to a Director of Operations role. Advancement is based on demonstrated performance and organizational need, and is not guaranteed.

Mosaic is moving quickly on this role.
